Plans​ are underway for this year's Big Spring Clean – which takes place around the town centre this coming Saturday, April 27th, whatever the weather! 

 

Please come and help us! We're meeting at Turner's Memorial from 10am - 12 noon; all equipment will be provided, just bring gloves and scrubbers if you have them. Everyone, of all ages, is welcome.

Last year more than 50 of you turned up to help us with this annual blitz that makes such a difference to our town.

​

Each spring we call on people to join us, split into teams and each has a 'zone', which we scrub with eco-friendly cleaners... everything from road signs and litter bins to postboxes and street furniture. We enjoy the challenge – and the friendship – and the town looks so much better when we've finished.
